Chapter 3 / 17
Sodimo
Sodimo France S.A.S. is the French subsidiary of Groupe Fattal, the Lebanese trading house. The company was created in Gennevilliers in 1985 and has operated from the same postcode for forty years. Registered office and warehouse are co-located at 7 Route du Môle 2-3, Bât. B29, 92230 Gennevilliers — north of Paris, inside the Seine port complex. The legal representative signs as “le représentant légal de Sodimo France S.A.S.” on public documents; on cavisteduliban.fr, Michel Fattal is named as the director of publication.
The warehouse is 6,000 m². It holds roughly 847 active SKUs across 21 branded partners. The public-facing claim is “1,000+ references”; the Sodiwin article master has 3,247 rows, most of which are historical or slow-movers. The working catalog is the smaller figure. Delivery within metropolitan France is guaranteed at 48 hours from the warehouse. Beyond France, Sodimo ships to twelve other European countries: Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, Malta, Spain, Norway, Italy, Germany, Austria, Ireland, and Portugal. Revenue runs around €6M per year.
The brand portfolio splits in three. The alcoholic side carries Château Kefraya, Domaine des Tourelles, Ixsir, Château Nakad, Côteaux du Liban — the flagship Lebanese wine houses — plus Almaza beer, for which Sodimo holds exclusive European distribution rights. The grocery side carries Al Wadi Al Akhdar, Café Najjar, Rifai, Abido, Al Rabih, California Garden, Domo, Durra, Kasih, Krikita, Kozat, Mechaalany, Target, Zwan. The non-alcoholic side carries Laziza alcohol-free beers and coffee. Two trade catalogues are issued annually: SODIMO Épicerie (grocery) and CHR 2025 (hospitality).
Customers are professional buyers only. The contact form offers a canonical sector dropdown: Restauration/CHR, GMS (large retail), Épicerie/commerce, Grossiste, Caviste/e-commerce, Marque/fournisseur, Autre. The B2B site has no shopping cart and no prices. A first order requires a SIRET to be validated, handled offline by Sodimo sales after an inbound contact form.
Sodimo also owns two B2C retail sites. cavisteduliban.fr (Lebanese wine, 83 SKUs from 8 brands, DHL delivery, free above €100, on Oxatis since 2013) and yallafood.eu (Lebanese grocery, currently on Shopify with 252 products — rebuilt as a single-product lead-gen funnel around Arak de Kefraya 70cl). A fourth domain, sodimonet.fr, is a French-only SEO mirror of sodimo.eu.
The corporate parent, Groupe Fattal, is a Lebanese conglomerate with holdings in food distribution, beverages, and industrial activity. CMA CGM (Rodolphe Saadé) is expected to acquire Fattal in Q3 2026 — a fact that shapes how Sodimo presents itself, but nothing below the board level changes. Staff: 15 people, French-speaking, mostly Lebanese-background, split between sales, admin/accounting (Paul, Ralph), operations, and management (Jack as DG, Michel as owner from the UAE).
The canonical corporate line — from VOICE.md — is: “Quarante ans que nous importons le Liban — un entrepôt, mille références, treize pays.”
